I had my hair braided for the first time last month. At that appointment, I scheduled a follow up appointment for a braid takedown and shampoo with Xiomara. The service was excellent! As a first time braid wearer, it probably would've taken a lot out of me to take down my braids and then shampoo my hair. I'm so glad they offer this service as it was very convenient for me. Overall, this was such a great experience and I look forward to getting my hair braided again for the holidays!

Do I need to book an appointment beforehand?

Yes, booking an appointment is encouraged to ensure availability. Walk-ins are accepted but subject to availability.

What should I do to prepare my hair before coming in for braiding?

We recommend washing your hair and avoiding heavy products. Come with your hair detangled and dried. Most of our services come with shampoo service already included for our Loyalty Members. How long do the braiding services typically take?

The duration depends on the style complexity and hair length, but generally, our braiding services can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Absolutely! Our products are hypoallergenic and designed to be gentle on sensitive scalps. However, we prefer that clients complete the client intake form and list their allergies, on the form, prior to their appointment.

Can I bring my own hair extensions

Yes, you can bring your own extensions. Please ensure they are of good quality and suitable for braiding. Please note, we cannot take liability for hair shortage for clients that do not bring enough hair to complete their style. We do offer braiding hair in the salon, and on our online store.

How long does my hair need to be, in order to get braids?

Our salon policy is that a client must have at least 4 inches of hair, all around their head. Please contact us for a consultation if you have some damaged hair or have other questions regarding the state of your hair. Email us at [email protected]
